This Privacy Policy explains how Akshantre Biztech Consultants Pvt Ltd ("HiringReferrals", "we", "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our platform, whether as a candidate, referral partner, freelancer, employer, recruiter, or accountant user.
1. Information We Collect
We collect: (a) Registration data — name, email, mobile number, location; (b) Profile data — work experience, education, skills, resume; (c) Financial data — bank account details, PAN, and wallet transaction history for payout processing; (d) Usage data — pages visited, features used, device and browser information; (e) Communication data — support tickets, chat history, and notification preferences.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to: match candidates to job openings; process referral and freelancer commissions and payouts; conduct background verifications; send platform notifications via email, SMS, and WhatsApp; improve AI-assisted matching accuracy; generate invoices and financial records; comply with legal obligations including TDS and regulatory reporting.
3. Data Sharing
We share data only with: (a) Employer partners — only candidate data relevant to a specific job application; (b) BGV agencies — candidate identity and employment data required for verification; (c) Payment processors — Razorpay, for processing employer payments, order invoices, and referral/freelancer payouts; we do not store your full card, UPI, or bank account credentials, which are handled directly by Razorpay under its own security and compliance standards; (d) WhatsApp Business Platform (Meta) — your registered mobile number, solely to deliver service notifications you have opted into; (e) AI service providers (such as Groq) — resume text and profile data may be processed strictly for parsing, scoring, and matching purposes under data-processing agreements, and is never used to train third-party models; (f) Legal authorities — when required by law. We do NOT sell personal data to third parties.
4. Data Retention
Candidate profile data is retained for 3 years after last platform activity. Payout, wallet, and financial records are retained for 7 years per Indian accounting regulations. You may request deletion of non-financial data by emailing privacy@hiringreferrals.com.
5. Data Security
We use 256-bit SSL encryption, secure cloud infrastructure, role-based access controls, and regular security audits. Despite best efforts, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
6. Cookies
We use functional and analytical cookies to improve platform experience. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect some platform features. We do not use cookies for advertising purposes.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of non-financial data; withdraw consent for marketing and WhatsApp communications. Exercise these rights at: privacy@hiringreferrals.com.
8. Governing Law
This policy is governed by the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable Indian data protection regulations. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
