Platform Conduct
HR Policies
Guidelines that govern how candidates, referral partners, and employers interact on the HiringReferrals platform.
Candidate Code of Conduct
Candidates must submit accurate, complete, and truthful information. Any misrepresentation — including fake experience, fabricated documents, or false qualifications — will result in immediate disqualification and potential legal action. Candidates must not approach employers directly to bypass the platform after being referred.
Referral Partner Obligations
Referral partners must only submit candidates with prior consent. Mass-spamming resumes without candidate knowledge is a violation. Partners must not use the platform to poach candidates from existing placements or solicit employers outside the platform. Fraudulent referrals (same candidate, multiple accounts) will result in account suspension and clawback of all related commissions.
Employer Responsibilities
Employers must provide timely feedback (within 5 working days of interview). BGV initiation must begin within 7 days of offer acceptance. The 91-day confirmation must be submitted on the platform — not communicated only off-platform. Ghosting candidates post-offer is a violation of platform terms.
Payout & Commission Policy
All commissions are calculated per the rate card agreed at employer onboarding. Disputes must be raised within 15 days of payout release. TDS will be deducted at source on referral partner payments exceeding ₹30,000 in a financial year per applicable Indian tax law. Payout requests are processed within 7 working days of release confirmation.
Data & Privacy Conduct
All users must handle candidate data in compliance with the Information Technology Act, 2000. Candidate PII must not be shared with third parties outside the platform workflow. Employers and partners must not retain candidate data beyond the active engagement period.
Dispute Resolution
All disputes between platform users are first subject to a 15-day internal resolution process. Unresolved disputes are referred to arbitration under the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996. Jurisdiction: Mumbai, Maharashtra.
